Pretty things makes me happy.

Delectable. I love the outlet deco and concept. I love the line up of pretty edible things.

Christine and I headed to Delectable for their media launch this evening. Since Von-H are friends with Su (The owner and patisserie of Delectable), I asked Von-H along too. It was all good. The spread of pastries, cakes, and chocolate desserts were excellent. One would expect them to be very sweet, but they were good, and you could really taste the flavors of the sweets and savories.

I didn't take a lot of pictures, and most were taken in a hurry.

About the mushroom thing, I may have been biased because I love mushrooms, but the next one was really delectable (although I inherently love chocolate).

The shimmery sheet in the middle of the chocolate is a gold leaf.

Ready-made cupcakes are sold in 3, and customised cupcakes are sold at a starting price of RM 9 each, with a minimum order of 50 cupcakes.

And Von-H bought 3 cupcakes for RM 28.

It came in an all too pretty box.

This is good stuff too. Layer cake with prunes.

It was a bit too oily for me though. I didn't want anything more than a slice. But it was good in taste, and for not being too sweet.

Introducing 7 sins!

I can't remember exactly what was in 7 sins, but I remember the dark chocolate dusting on the top, and a thick layer of chocolate mousse over chocolate sponge.

One of my favourites there was melted chocolate over soft biscuit and whole strawberries. Too bad, no pictures.

Cakewise, the exquisite royal icing is not something I can relate to, at least not now. But this... cute works of art, I likey...

Can I have that for my birthday? But I dun want just one sheep... I want to have a whole family of small and big with different coloured wool, and in different positions. *hint*hint* :P

With all the raves here, I reckon if you're into sinful and wicked threats, this is not the place. Go to Just Heavenly, they're still my all time sinful favourite. But for most days, Delectable would do the trick, minus the guilt. :)
