love story with a town.

I never really left that quiet town.

I've always carried a part of it with me wherever I go.

That said, I'm not sure I've ever really felt like I belong there.

Norwood Parade.

I love strolling this stretch late in the evening, stopping by shops displaying kitchenware and utensils, and taking a stop at Cibos or other Italian cafes for a cup of chocolate or coffee and sometime gelati. After that, I would head for the nearby bookstore which always have bargain tables outside stacked with cheap books. And I can never be too late for Coles supermarket after that. If at any point I feel like a snack, there's Baker's Delight which bakes the best breads and buns ever. I remember watching the bread slicing machine 'chop' through loaves after loaves, I could stare at it for many long minutes. I love it when I get a bun that is hot from the oven. Even better. And if the weather is chilly, a warm Baker's Delight is simply perfect.

I may have left Adelaide. But that little town never left me.

It isn't the same place it was when I fell in love with it, but I still love it all the same.

p/s: I feel weird these days. Since Monday, I've had frequent hunger pangs. Every two hours after putting something into my mouth, I find my stomach churning for more food. :(
