would you put parsley on your face?

I've always been keen on oils. That said, I specifically mean oils used in the beauty industry (be it hair care, skin care, or body care) or for holistic well-being.

It all started with a gift from Irv and Kristen which was a basic set of oils and burner. Part of the set had a small bottle of Lavender oil. While I enjoyed burning it, I appreciated it more when I left drops of it on my pillow before I sleep. From there on, I started collecting oils and learning a little about the difference between cold pressed oils and steam distilled oils.

I continued my collection with Organic Jojoba Oil, Eucalyptus Blue Gum Oil, Peppermint Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Macadamia Nut Oil, which are the 5 glass bottles you see on the right. All 5 were acquired during my days in Australia.

On the far left, you'll see Bio-Oil, which is like a little miracle oil for me. Coming with high recommendations from SherB, this oil works wonders on my skin and is actually quite affordable (when it goes on sale :P).

All that aside, there is a new addition today, courtesy of Aesop- a Melbourne-based skincare brand.

Yes, I know. What were they thinking when they concocted this for a facial oil? Parsley??? I guess if it does the magic, why not right? After all, I have Sweet Almond and Macadamia as well.

Oh well, it felt rather nice on the skin, I've only just started using it, so I can't tell if it does wonders. But the smell was a tad bit odd, the only way I'd use it is to add a drop or two to a dollop of moisturiser, even then the smell still stands out, and it's not exactly my idea of pleasant.

Really is that Parsley on my face?
