You have to check out 15 Malaysia.

15Malaysia is a short film project. It consists of 15 short films made by 15 Malaysian filmmakers. These films not only deal with socio-political issues in Malaysia, they also feature some of the best-known faces in the country, including actors, musicians and top political leaders. You may think of them as funky little films made by 15 Malaysian voices for the people of Malaysia.

Here are two videos that are already out!

The first- Potong Saga- is directed by Ho Yuhang. I don't know much about him, but I heard he has quite a reputation for his controversial work. Some of you may remember Namewee (actual name: Wee Meng Chee), for his rendition of Negarakuku, he is the principal cast for this clip. Enjoy.



This second one- Chocolate- is directed by the late Yasmin Ahmad. I have great respect for this Malaysian and her work. She is excellent at portraying the actuality of the Malaysian culture, diversity and controversies without discrimination. This video is very insightful. As a Malaysian Chinese, I can't deny having heard the very sentiments that was echoed in this video repeated to me all too often.
