Joseph's dad use to be an antique furniture dealer, so just about every room and living space in their home (toilet included), has a piece of wooden antique fitting/furniture. Unlike the furniture these days that are laminates with wood/saw fiber fillers, or those with actual wood panels but shaved thin, these antique furniture at Jamie and Joseph's, were made of thick solid wood, with relatively minimal finishing; hence, much of the character on the wood still shows. But I reckon I was the one who appreciated these pieces the most.
As beautiful as these pieces are, they were the most challenging part of the move. The cupboards were huge, and the gorgeous thick solid wood was very heavy to lift much less maneuver. But the only guys at the move (Joseph and Kalter) managed it all in good stride.
That was all the photos I took of the move. For the most part of it, we were just too busy moving for me to be snapping away.
After all the work, Kalter spotted the mango tree outside Jamie's parents' place (they moved to Jamie's parents' house to stay till next year). Anyways, the boys started to pick mangoes!
But really, we were all exhausted from a whole day of lifting, hauling, pushing, pulling, and driving. They stay very far, and their new place is even further.
