taking a lone drive up to Genting and just sit out in the cold- curling up under thick sheets with good music and a book at hand
- walking outdoors, just keep on walking for a very long time
When I was in Adelaide, I walked a lot. During the early days, I had the pleasure of having Kevin as my regular walking companion. Sometimes we talk, other times we just walked in silence. That was good enough.
Here in KL, nowhere outdoors is safe to walk. And this was possibly one of the more difficult adjustments I had to make when I moved back to KL. All of a sudden, I had no means to ease my thoughts, so I started to write. A lot. Specifically blogging like this one here. Over time, I've also learned to resort to a myriad of other things to pace my thoughts.
But not being able to walk outdoors for long periods of time still leaves me feeling inhibited. Is it too much to ask for safe streets in KL?
