my cactus bears fruit?

Earlier this year, I went up to Malacca with SS and Chen. It was there that a tattoed half-naked local man gave me a potted cactus. Just a cactus, but I was very happy because of how it came about.

It has grown very much since, and in recent weeks, a little pineapple-like thing has popped up. I've seen the full grown one which is about 2-3 times in size, and yellow just like an actual pineapple. It's beautiful. Look at the flower buds at the base of the pineapple-thingy; it's in purple, blue and red!
