Salomon

While I was at the shops, I also found Salomon. Largely known as a brand for ski gear (where its roots were formed), Salomon has since diversified into running, mountaining, trail, and other sports gear too. Some of these pieces are also good for use here in Malaysia.

Not much of the range was displayed, but I was particularly impressed with this one piece- Salomon's Minim Softshell Jacket.

You have to feel the material. Different materials were used at different parts of the jacket to make it as comfortable and functional for the wearer as possible. Oh, and it's waterproof too, except where insulation was intended (like the underarms). :)

Good stuff, but with a price to match. I couldn't afford. :(
