Christians in a parking lot

We went to church this morning. Aside from Sher, a common friend Tanya came along. It was all good, but I reckon that today's message was probably too theological for them.

After church, we split ways as I have some work errands to run. As I was about to leave my parking lot, a shiny Honda Accord pulled right in front of me. A woman in her 40s fumbled around inside for her parking token to pay at a nearby autopay station.

I was ready to leave, so I gave her a few flashes of high beam, and as she was still oblivious, I gave a few light taps on my honk. She still continued on. When she stepped out of her car, she looked at me with a smile and gestured for me to wait for her while she pays her parking token. I couldn't get myself to smile back. I just nodded.

I am disappointed that she could bring herself to such behavior. There were available lots (at least 3 of them) directly opposite mine, why did she stop right in front of me. Is her convenience enough to justify such inconsideration? And she has the cheek to smile and ask me to wait!

I know I probably shouldn't be so annoyed about it, but I am. I guess its the fact that I reckon if this happened in a shopping mall she would have moved her car straight away, yet because she could safely assume I'm a Christian like her, she could leave me waiting.

.:sigh:.
