it was Not a press conference!

Ahhh... what a week. There's so much I to share, and I will be breaking it into a few posts along the way (but in no particular order).

First up has to be the Robinsons Sale!

We got media invites to Robinsons 2nd Anniversary sale. SherB, Ann and I was expected something of a press conference, but arrived to booming music and a winding queue outside Robinsons. There was only one entrance and exit point, and besides press, Robinsons card members were invited for what turned out to be a Sale Preview.

Good news: Members of the press gets special entrance sans queue. :P

Inside, we met
Marion Caunter, who looks so gorgeous in person, with a cheery enthusiasm, and no high-and-lofty-I'm-a-diva attitude. The crowd and great bargains aside, I was quite fascinated with these life-mannequins.

As we stood looking at them, I leaned forward and whispered to Ann "I like how they look, so professional- malnourished and sick- nice." I wasn't being completely sarcastic. After a few fashion shows and modeling, I reckon that these girls (their size and shape esp) worked the life-mannequin very well.

That day, we went home a little poorer. We bought a handbag each, and Ann even got accessories. But it was all good. I usually avoid sales, as if feels like shopping under pressure. But that day was good, with great music and even greater girly-mates, I had heaps of fun. :)
