If you have followed my first post on 'Bent on a change', you'd know that I have embarked on some healthy lifestyle changes beginning from the end of last year. I think it must have started sometime after my birthday in November.
An update.
I'm quite keen on my regime this week. It may introduce a new form of exercise to my current regime- cycling, or what I'd be calling as biking from here on. Not that I've never biked before, but it's been too many years since.
Coincidentally, I got in touch with a former colleague who has taken to mountain biking with a furor, and... here's the best part... she has a spare bike and she stays in my suburb! How convenient is that! If it wasn't for personal security concerns, I could even walk to her house. Nice!
Well, here's my routine for the week:
Mon: Rest (have an injured ankle from Sunday. It ouches.)
Tues: Gym and Badminton
Wed: Gym
Thurs: Biking or Bt Gasing (if it doesn't rain)
Fri: Rest
Sat: Ampang Forest
Sun: Badminton
Something else to add to this 'Bent', is a decision that I have been pondering for over 6 months. I'm hitting 26 this year, and I still have to deal with hormonal acne. I've never had any of this until after I turned 21. It's an awful bad time to have to deal with acne.
Having tapped into different possible but ineffective remedies, I have finally decided to resort to an invasive alternative- oral contraceptive (famously dubbed as the pill). Prior to this decision, I have consulted many, some in the medical industry, and others who have or are currently on the pill. Interestingly, the pill is still a rather taboo practice even among my educated friends.
Nonetheless, I am not going to knock it until I try it. So the pill is my next bent on a change. If it works, I'll let you know. :)
