A new favourite past time.

While others usher in the Chinese New Year [CNY] with the usual Poker and Mahjong, I did it with Monopoly Deal and Pictionary. All the fun I had playing those games reminded me of how much I enjoyed playing Citadels in Singapore with my chums.

I enjoyed it tremendously, and although like most board games this is rather expensive by my measure, my hessitation in making the purchase was a lack of kaki [players].

But this CNY, I found others who also shares my love for a good strategy game played old-fashionly on cards and board.

Here are other games I would really like try out:

But now that I have the kaki, it seems I have another problem- finding new games like these are difficult in KL. Most places which sells board and card games in KL usually only stock the old general favourites like Monopoly, Uno, Pictionary, and Boogle. Boo!

Time to make a trip to Singapore! :)
