This week has been an extremely B-U-S-Y one for me. So was last two weeks, and the next 4 weeks. On my schedule today included a quick stop at a client's. As I left their office and headed for the car park lifts, a guy came up to me and said...
"Just finished work?"
And we began to talk. I have spoken to quite a few people at lifts, and it has always turned out to be very pleasant. So I thought no different of this one; that was until he wanted to follow me when I got off the lift so he could continue our conversation (when he was suppose to get off at another floor).
Like I said, I've been extremely busy, so the last thing I needed is to be held back. Here I am thinking "I just want to get back to the office. Please go away". But SherB has so often said to me "you don't give people chance" (whatever chance means :P), and he was okay to talk to so I entertained him a little more. And when he asked for my card, I gave. Then he asked if we could go out for drinks or something like that...
What do you think I said or should have said to him? :P
