U do Macanese?

Having just returned from Singapore, and well stuffed on all 4-days with excessive amounts of good food, I continued the pigging out with...

An invitation from One World Hotel to attend the press launch of their spread on Macau cuisine.

It kicked off with some dance and singing routines that seemed to hold much if not entirely Portuguese influences. Why it was so, I had little idea. I might be able to tell you more after I go through my press kit. :P

The spread of food was extensive. All sorts were laid before us. It seemed very much like a spread of international cuisines. But a quick glance at some of the Macau Tourism materials tells me that Macau is quite diverse in culture and food.

Quite frankly the food did not impress me at all. Instead, Adele whom I invited to join me, had a complete indulgence and was easily impressed.

There was one thing we agreed on though, the service at the Cinnamon Coffee House, and the staff at the One World Hotel were almost impeccably polite and delightful.

That said, they should look into the water leaks in the car park. As we headed for the exit, Adele raised a question 'Do you wonder where the water is coming from?', Stef says 'I really don't want to know'.
